The story of the Dampt family (3 brothers) is a modern epic tale made of encounters, perseverance and convictions. They started with just a few parcels and now have a Domaine of 60 hectares, allowing them to offer 33 wine appellations. They have been implementing a ‘supervised’ control regime (‘Lutte raisonnée’) for more than 20 years, combining modern practices to produce wines with the special character of their terroirs, making them unique and well balanced.

Pale gold colour. The nose is very fresh, lively and mineral with flint, green apple, lemon and field mushroom. If you age it, the colour will be bright golden and the nose will have a bouquet of spices. On the palate, the aromas retain their freshness, perky, full of juice, the attack is intense. Delicate, smooth and serene finish.

The Dampt brothers are very unique in making their wine appellations as they are using modern techniques to keep this minerality (as their key success factor). They use malolactic fermentation, stainless steel barrels and oak barrels for the Grand Cru.
Should be served between 10 to 12 degrees.
Oysters, snails, fish (cooked or raw), chicken, rabbit and crab.
