Pierre Meurgey is a fourth-generation winemaker and trader. He was trained by his father before becoming Director of Operations of a well-known negociant (Maison Champy) in Beaune. Pierre is omnipresent in the vineyards from pruning to bud break to harvest, offering his expertise in biodynamic agriculture. Pierre’s ‘purist’ philosophy is to reveal the specifications of each “Terroir”. Through his own label or with Domaine Clos de la Chapelle, Pierre is growing a big range of appellations from Cote de Beaune to Cote de Nuits.
