Light ruby colour. Red fruits (morello cherry, strawberry) and blueberry nose. The palate is powerful and generous with a long and meaty finish. The Marsannay appellation style resembles its neighbouring appellations like Fixin and Gevrey-Chambertin. Definitely a good quality wine!

Volume/Bottle size:
75cl
Alcohol%/ABV:
12.50%

This small domaine (3.4 hectares) is run by Stephane who started in 2017, as he took over his grandfather’s parcels. Stephane was trained by Roland Masse (former winemaker of the Hospices de Beaune) to make beautiful and elegant wines. Based in a small village behind Gevrey-Chambertin, Stephane is continuously looking for excellence! A young winemaker, and very promising!

Please note that the label vintage could be different from the one that you buy.

The vinification is clearly based on low intervention on vines and wines. Limited use of new oak barrels (30%) to keep the authenticity of each appellation. Stephane's wines are always well balanced and make you want to consume yet another glass and open the next bottle of Marsannay.
Should be served between 13 to 15 degrees.
Red meats: beef, ribs, ostrich steak, chop suey, stir fried vegetables. Cow milk cheeses.
