Marie is the third generation in the Domaine as she took over from her father, Paul, who really developed the quality of his Rully appellations and kept his loyal customers. The domaine has 19 hectares with 60% white wines and 40% red wine appellations, from Aligote to Bourgogne to Premier Cru. Pure, aromatic, juicy wines which seamlessly convey the fruit, its texture and its aromas. It’s easy to understand the success of this domaine which stands out from its Burgundian peers for its amazing quality and accessible prices!
The domaine is run according to environmentally friendly methods (as she didn't use herbicides for more than 15 years). Organic fertilizers are used and the soil is tilled. For red wines, the grapes are entirely destemmed and slowly fermented before being vatted. When alcoholic fermentation is finished, the wines are placed in barrels (around 25% are new ones) where they mature for one year. For white wines, vinification and elevage are also carried out in barrels (20% of them are new).
Should be served between 14 to 16 degrees.
