This Domaine is located in the centre of Pommard and has a lovely courtyard with buildings dating from the 17th century. 13 hectares (10 hectares producing red wine and 3 hectares producing white wine) are spread across Pommard, Beaune and Saint-Romain. This domaine represents centuries of history and now embraces modern techniques to win medals at different wine-making contests. Domaine Coste-Caumartin is small and not as well-known as other winemakers I represent, but the wine is definitely worth buying as the quality remains the same.

Deep red colour. The nose reveals a fine aroma of blackberry and cherry pit and ripe plum. At full maturity, it tends towards leather, chocolate and pepper. It needs time to open up and have the full extent in the mouth with a delicate structure, chewy tannins and a long finish.
