Lovely inviting Pinot Noir aroma showing the ripe, attractive raspberry fruit that characterises the vintage, along with some black fruit notes. A really pleasing style with lovely length of flavours.

Alain is using traditional wine making methodologies revealing less well known appelations like Saint Romain or Auxey Duresses. Global warming is also helping him out as Saint Romain is known to be a cooler site than other well known Cote de Beaune appellations like Meursault, Puligny Montrachet....
Should be served between 12 to 13 degree.
Creamy veal tendreloin with mushrooms, monk fish with red wine sauce, duck, roasted chicken, onion tart… It will match perefectly with cheeses like Camembert, fresh goat cheese, Saint Marcelin.
