Bright gold colour. Even if it’s a Village appellation, it taste like a 1ier Cru. So, the nose will be elegant and you will have a long finish on the palate.

Volume/Bottle size:

Being the 3rd generations of wine makers in Saint Romain, Alain Gras decided to create his own domaine in 1979. Now, the domaine has 15 hectares mainly loacted in Saint Romain but also in Auxey Duresse and Meursault. Alain Gras is the BEST wine maker in the beautiful hilltop of Saint Romain and the BEST amabassador of its wines. Now, his son, Arthur, is working with him and trying to expand the domaine.

Alain is using traditional wine making methodologies revealing less well known appelations like Saint Romain or Auxey Duresses. Global warming is also helping him out as Saint Romain is known to be a cooler site than other well known Cote de Beaune appellations like Meursault, Puligny Montrachet....
Should be served between 12 to 13 degree.
Delicate fish (fried or steamed), poached eggs, seared or marinated vegetables, soft cheeses like Camembert, brillat savarin.
