This parcel (“Climats” as we would call it in Burgundy) is only owned by Domaine Clos de la Chapelle which makes this appellation unique in a certain way. Bright ruby colour. Elegant berries and floral aromas. Lovely fullness on the palate, a supple and generous wine. Good tannic structure, allowing the wine to have a generous and long finish.

Volume/Bottle size:

Pierre Meurgey is a fourth-generation winemaker and trader. He was trained by his father before becoming Director of Operations of a well-known negociant (Maison Champy) in Beaune. Pierre is omnipresent in the vineyards from pruning to bud break to harvest, offering his expertise in biodynamic agriculture. Pierre’s ‘purist’ philosophy is to reveal the specifications of each “Terroir”. Through his own label or with Domaine Clos de la Chapelle, Pierre is growing a big range of appellations from Cote de Beaune to Cote de Nuits.
